Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist, a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Certified Yoga Therapist, and a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She has extensive experience working in a variety of clinical settings with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. Sarah offers a holistic approach to health and wellness. She specializes in those who struggle with an emotional attachment to food, disordered eating, negative body image, and those who want to become healthy and are overwhelmed by where to begin. Sarah helps guide those on their path to a healthy relationship with food and with themselves. Having difficulty managing health and weight can be stressful and may lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and a negative self-image. Creating a healthy, balanced life takes time, effort and exploration. Sarah is passionate about helping guide those seeking a journey towards a full, healthy, intentional life.
Through her unique combination of training and skills, Sarah helps others create a healthy, balanced life through stress management, coping skill development, mindfulness, creative and artistic expression, as well as nutrition awareness. She works from a Person-Centered, Strengths-Based, and Holistic approach to therapy. She also helps those struggling with challenging life transitions, anxiety, and a variety of other concerns. Sarah is dedicated to supporting those along their path to optimal health and wellness--- mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is currently completing training in EMDR.
