Background:
Caitlin has been working in the mental health field since 2012. Her experience includes crisis intervention and suicide prevention, inpatient psychiatric care, and case management. Caitlin's passion lies in the treatment of eating disorders. She has been working and receiving training in the field of eating disorders since 2016 and is currently finishing her hours toward her certification as an eating disorder specialist (CEDS). Caitlin has a wide array of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families of those diagnosed with eating disorders at the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings. Other focus areas include mood disorders, grief and loss, anxiety and stress, maternal mental health, self-esteem, and body image. Caitlin's treatment modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Caitlin serves as the Clinical Director for Wild Oaks- RCC's Intensive Outpatient Program specializing in treating adults with eating disorders. Caitlin was instrumental as a founding member of the program, taking a lead in creating the program curriculum, schedule, and treatment trajectory.
During her free time, Caitlin enjoys exploring her hometown of Richmond, trying new restaurants, hiking by the James, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
