Carla is a Registered Dietitian and has a Masters degree in Nutrition from Hunter College with the City University of New York (CUNY). She is passionate about working with people that are struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating patterns to develop more functional relationships with food, eating, and their bodies. Carla works with adults, adolescents, and children as young as 8 years of age. She is currently working towards Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) credential and has worked treating eating disorders at outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care. Carla uses a non-diet approach to nutrition that supports each person in finding peace with food, optimal body functioning, and true body acceptance.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys gardening, reading, and spending quality time with her family and dogs.
