Carrie enjoys providing clinical supervision to individuals seeking licensure as a Professional Counselor or who are pursuing their registration as a Play Therapist with the Association for Play Therapy. With a fully stocked play therapy room, as well as several outpatient offices filled with therapeutic resources, Carrie enjoys engaging supervisees in "experiential" supervision to help enhance confidence/skills and improve self-awareness as a clinician. Carrie has a non-dogmatic approach to supervision and views the supervisory relationship as one of mutual growth and respect. She also participates in a biweekly peer-consultation group with other licensed helping professionals to maintain and enhance her skills and to promote ongoing accountability for her clinical work. Carrie provides APT and NBCC-approved trainings to clinicians on a variety of topics, namely play therapy, trauma, and working with gender and sexual diversity.
