Lindsey received her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2020 after completing her clinical internship with RCC, and is now working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Lindsey is LGBTQIA+ affirming and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with concerns related to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress-management, and life changes. Lindsey’s style is empathetic, accepting, and non-judgmental. She believes in the importance of telling and owning your story, and that her clients are the experts in their own experiences. She uses psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, and play therapy techniques, and enjoys incorporating yoga, mindfulness, and expressive arts into traditional talk-therapy sessions.
