Robin is a Resident in Counseling and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with 18 years of experience in the fields of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Robin received her Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2002 and has experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings. She has provided intensive in-home counseling to children and families, clinical case management and counseling to adults struggling with addiction, and outpatient therapy to homeless veterans with a local non-profit. Robin is fully trained in EMDR and is trained to perform Auricular Acupuncture to treat addiction, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. She has completed Level 1 Gottman Training and is working towards certification as a Gottman Trained Couples Counselor. Robin is currently under the clinical supervision of Carrie Walker, LPC in pursuit of her LPC. She enjoys working with all general mental health challenges, including Mood Disorders, Anxiety, PTSD, and OCD. She has developed a passion for working with couples of all backgrounds and commitment levels. Additionally, Robin is specialized in treating substance use disorders and addiction. She works with children ages 10+, adults, and couples.
