Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a counseling style focused on warmth, empathy, and non-judgment. Her approach is mostly person-centered with frequent incorporation of CBT, mindfulness skills, Gestalt, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing techniques. She finds multicultural competency essential to her work and encourages clients to discuss any cultural matters openly. Additionally, Alyssa helps clients understand how their mental health is directly impacted by physical health and encourages lifestyles that promote holistic well-being.

Alyssa’s experience includes working with adults with the following concerns: anxiety, depression, stress management, communication issues, self-worth and self-esteem issues, addiction, relationship issues, stage of life transitions, symptom management, and more.
