Asiah is a Clinical Assistant who has been part of the RCC work family since August of 2019. As a Clinical Assistant to three of our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Asiah's job is centered on handling all of the administrative tasks that enable them to focus almost exclusively on patient care. This includes handling prior authorizations for medications, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, handling prescription refill requests, triaging patient messages, seeking financial assistance through pharmaceutical programs when needed, sending and receiving medical records, and many other various duties. Before landing at RCC, Asiah worked in a variety of customer-facing positions, including banking, hospitality, and property management. Having been inspired by her relationships with our amazing PMHNPs and observing the work they do, Asiah is currently enrolled in coursework to pursue becoming a Registered Nurse and, eventually, a Nurse Practitioner.
