Bethany Duffour, LPC (she/her)

Bethany is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. Much of her past work has been with children, adolescents and their families in various settings including school-based, residential, in-home, and outpatient. Through this background, she has developed an understanding of how symptoms can present differently based on the setting.

Bethany also enjoys working with adults struggling with concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity, trauma, and self-esteem, to name a few. She is especially passionate about maternal mental health and is specialized in treating Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) as well as pregnancy loss.

Bethany views treatment through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens. She is LQBTQIA+ affirming and works from the viewpoint that the client is the expert on their life, identity, and experiences. Bethany is knowledgeable in treating individuals who identify as neurodivergent, displaying sensitivity to variations in sensory experience, attentiveness, social functioning, etc.

Bethany’s treatment methods are holistic in nature in order to treat the whole person. She utilizes evidence-based strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment-based theories. Her focus is always to individualize treatment based on the person’s unique needs and goals.
