Dave is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the counseling profession. He is highly specialized in the clinical areas of Eating Disorders, Addiction, Anxiety, and Marriage & Family Therapy. As a former Clinical Director for a residential treatment program for Eating Disorders, Dave has been an area expert in working with adolescents, adults, and families who are struggling with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, and other disordered eating concerns. Prior to joining Richmond Creative Counseling, Dave provided inpatient treatment to adults and families coping with various addiction-related concerns. He has always maintained a private practice throughout his many years of working for larger agencies. Dave utilizes person-centered, CBT, DBT, and Structural Family Therapy approaches in his work. He has an incredibly warm, non-judgmental, and accepting presence as a therapist and enjoys coming alongside the individuals he serves to best support them on their journey.
