Background:

Karlie earned a Bachelor of Science in dietetics at Brigham Young University and completed a dietetic internship at Oregon Health & Science University. She has been working as a Registered Dietitian since 2008. She is passionate about helping those struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating. Karlie utilizes a weight-inclusive, non-diet, intuitive eating approach to nutrition. Through nutrition education and counseling, she aspires to help patients build a better relationship with their bodies, develop more compassionate behaviors and make peace with food. She has experience working with adolescent and adult patients at PHP, IOP and outpatient levels of care. Karlie is currently working towards becoming a certified eating disorder specialist. She loves the beach, reading, podcasts and spending time with family and friends.
