Nikita (she/her) is a Resident in Counseling who has experience working with adolescents and adults in various stages of life. Nikita completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling from George Mason University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
Nikita is passionate about helping her clients through her authentic and genuine style. She believes that each client is the expert on their own life, and that therapy can be a source of support or guidance along that journey. Nikita uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach and utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques; she has worked with clients who have wanted to process trauma, including domestic and sexual violence, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and self-esteem. Nikita is LGBTQIA+ affirming.
