Kelly Cook, PMHNP-BC

Kelly Cook, MS, APRN, PMHNP-BC, practices with empathy and compassion to offer adults and adolescents of all backgrounds personalized, respectful, and effective psychiatric care for the treatment of a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, sleep problems, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder, binge eating disorder, mild to moderate bulimia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive disorder and others. In addition to providing psychiatric evaluations and managing psychotropic medications, Kelly draws on her study of literature and work in media to help clients shape an empowering narrative identity and gain transformative insight into their motivations, emotions, and experiences. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cornell University, a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Hollins University and completed her clinical education and training as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University. Prior to becoming a clinician, Kelly worked in magazine publishing, higher education, marketing and public television corporate sponsorship. Kelly enjoys reading short stories and spending time with her family and her cat, Jhumpa.
