I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with substantial experience engaging various populations in the field. I greatly enjoy the diversity private practice work gives me, as it allows me to work with kids and teens, individuals, families, and couples presenting with various diagnoses.

My clinical specialties are pain management, hospice and palliative care, complex disease management, and end-of-life planning. I enjoy working with young adults managing chronic illness, helping families find meaning through their illness journeys, and assisting others in maintaining their independence.

In my work, I often utilize frameworks such as Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Therapy. I tend to be solution-focused, employ psycho-education, and was trained in a highly medical model of social work.

When not “social working” I can be found on my farm in Amelia County training rescue horses, playing with my pitbulls, gardening, reading memoirs, attending Richmond festivals, or cooking.
