RCC felt like the call I have been waiting for my entire life. I am currently studying to be a rehabilitation counselor and a clinical mental health therapist, so when the opportunity arose to work alongside an amazing mental health team, I felt like the universe was aligning in my favor. My passion is to help others, especially those in marginalized communities, and being a part of RCC allows me to fulfill my need to help others, while working in a community of people that accept the person I am discovering myself to be. I feel like this position at RCC allowed me to align myself in Richmond the way I envisioned and I know because of this opportunity, I will succeed in Richmond and not have to move back to Miami.
