Expand & Deepen Your Skills as a Therapist
Richmond Creative Counseling is an APT approved Provider ( #15-410) providing professionals with training to learn more about play therapy, to fulfill the specific education requirements to become a Registered Play Therapist (through APT), or to obtain APT-approved continuing education hours for renewal of their RPT/S credentials.
While completion of our Play Therapy trainings will provide attendees with APT-specific contact hours, it does not guarantee your status as a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, as that is determined by the Association for Play Therapy upon reviewing your application or renewal materials. Please be sure to review the application guidelines at www.a4pt.org to learn more about the specific requirements for becoming a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor.
Many of RCC's Play Therapy Trainings are also approved for NBCC credit with RCC's NBCC-approved provider status (ACEP #6946)
Advanced Therapy Techniques
Attend one, several, or all our workshops. Each workshop provides APT and/or NBCC contact hours (unless otherwise specified). Visit www.a4pt.org to review the specific education requirements to apply for your RPT/S credential with the Association for Play Therapy.
Each workshop is facilitated by a lead Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor with expertise in the topic area and may include co-facilitators/guest speakers who are experts in their particular presentation topic. Our training workshops combine lecture and experiential activities at the postgraduate level to ensure that attendees receive the most comprehensive experience possible.
