Alysha Nakoneczny, DNP, FNP, PMHNP-BC

Alysha Nakoneczny is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in internal medicine. She approaches care with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience, guided by the belief that mental and physical health are deeply connected to overall well-being.

She enjoys helping patients build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and feel more empowered to navigate life with greater confidence and balance. She offers thoughtful medication management when helpful, while also placing strong value on non-pharmacologic approaches to healing and personal growth.

She provides inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care and values learning from diverse cultural perspectives on mental health.

Alysha earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and her DNP/PMHNP from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Outside of her clinical work, Alysha enjoys reading, traveling, music, and spending time with her cat. She is also studying herbal medicine and hopes to work towards her certification.
