Background:
Elana Ferguson is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with extensive clinical experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, emergency psychiatric assessment, and adult inpatient psychiatry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2010, Elana worked in various healthcare settings, gaining invaluable experience before advancing her education. In 2023, Elana earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University.
Throughout her career, Elana has developed a strong expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and more complex mental health issues. With a patient-centered approach, Elana works closely with individuals to create personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle interventions.
Outside of her professional life, Elana enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and playing with her rescue dog. Elana is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering patients to take an active role in their care and recovery.
