Melissa Cramsey, PMHNP-BC

Melissa (she/her) is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She began her career in the psychiatric field as an RN working at a residential facility for children with behavioral and mental health issues. She then carried this knowledge into an acute inpatient behavioral health setting for adults and children. She uses a collaborative and holistic approach to develop a personalized treatment plan for each client and emphasizes the importance of shared decision-making and client education.  She also recognizes the rise of addiction disorders in the community and does her part to reduce the use of habit-forming medications. Along with the rest of our staff at RCC, Melissa provides LGBTQ+ competent and affirming care.

When not serving the community, she enjoys camping with her husband and daughter. She also has two cats that fully believe that the world revolves around them, and humans are only here as servants.
