Background:
I am a neurodiversity affirming LCSW who is AutPlay certified, and under supervision for Registered Play Therapist certification, with experience in outpatient therapy and community-based programs. I work with young children, teens, and families, addressing anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation by recognizing and supporting an individual’s capabilities, language skills, pro-social behaviors, and social-emotional development.
I use child centered play therapy techniques and AutPlay and neurodiversity affirming framework. I use creative interventions to increase the level of engagement and communication in sessions and allow for a less threatening method for expression. My areas of clinical expertise include teaching prosocial skills, developing emotional identification and emotional regulation, improving communication skills, empowering positive identity development, and building self-esteem.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to live music, and traveling and exploring new places!
