Background:
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with people ranging in age from 13 to 100+. I utilize a strength-based approach in my work to assist clients in identifying and utilizing their strengths and supports. I enjoy being able assist clients in their journey of unraveling the concerns that brought them to counseling.
I bring an eclectic approach of therapeutic techniques to sessions in order to best assist my clients. I find that my approach allows me to adjust when my client’s needs change. My eclectic approach includes use of CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and REBT. I also integrate mindfulness into my approach. I will be completing EMDR training in the near future and am looking forward to integrating it into my practice.
In my free time, I love to spoil my one (and a half) eyed Chihuahua Ellie Mae, tend to my 11 chickens, and add stamps to my passport.
