Her clinical experience includes work with LGBTQIA+ youth, survivors of DV & IPV, homebound folks experiencing progressive and chronic illnesses as well as terminal illnesses. Ashley believes that every person has strengths that they at times forget about. She loves to help clients rediscover these strengths as they work towards their goals in therapy. Ashley brings an eclectic approach of therapeutic techniques to sessions, finding that this approach allows her to adjust to the client's changing needs during the therapeutic process. Ashley’s approach to therapy includes use of trauma-informed CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness and EMDR.
In her free time, Ashley loves to spoil her one (and a half) eyed Chihuahua Ellie Mae & Pomaweenie Sampson, tend to her chickens, and add stamps to her passport.
