Catelyn Koff, LCSW

Catelyn Koff (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in treating trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem/body image issues, grief/loss, and anxiety and mood disorders. She has over 13 years of field experience with her unwavering passion for mental health budding as early as high school. Catelyn deeply respects the autonomy and self-determination of every individual and prioritizes this value in the way she practices. She is aligned with RCC’s steadfast commitment to ensuring inclusivity is a non-negotiable practice both inside and outside the therapy room. Catelyn feels proud to work somewhere she can provide a completely affirming, safe, and inviting space for individual with a wide array of identities.

As far as therapy modalities, Catelyn primarily utilizes Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Mindfulness and specifically looks forward to becoming increasingly more skilled in the treatment of complex trauma. She values her experience working with individuals, families, and groups in multiple levels of care including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. She believes her clients hold the most knowledge about themselves that she feels privileged to learn about and witness as they embark on or continue along their therapy journey.

Getting to be a therapist is one of Catelyn’s greatest joys in life but outside of work, she likes to immerse herself in spending time with friends and family, starting (and never finishing) new projects, being with her 2 rambunctious mixed-breed dogs and husband, and traveling anywhere and everywhere she can.
