Christine Steiffer, MSW

Hey there! I’m Christine (she/her) and I’m a Supervisee in Social Work dedicated to walking alongside individuals through life's most intense transitions. Before pursuing my MSW, I trained as an end-of-life doula, supporting people and families navigating mortality, grief, and the search for meaning. That work deepened my commitment to supporting individuals experiencing loss and ultimately led me to pursue clinical training so I could offer longer-term, therapeutic support to my community.

I bring a trauma-informed approach to my work grounded in lived experience with grief and loss. I draw on evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodrama to help clients build resilience, process difficult emotions, and move toward lives that feel meaningful and aligned with their values. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals navigating grief, identity, and the complex intersections of both. Whether supporting someone through acute loss, chronic depression, or the disorientation of major life transitions, I work to create a space where clients can feel fully seen and where healing is collaborative, honest, and grounded in the client’s own wisdom.

When not in session, you can find me cooking, line dancing, playing guitar, or adventuring with my dog, Buddy.
