Background:
Crystal Shipos (She/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Therapist with extensive experience in supporting teens and adults with new ADHD and ASD diagnoses, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, BIPOC issues, women’s issues, trauma treatment, parenting support, life transitions, and more. Crystal is a person centered and holistic practitioner that draws on their personal experience of being a neurodivergent Black/Asian queer woman as well as their professional experience to inform her practice. Though Crystal draws from many modalities, she primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing interventions in a Gestalt framework. Crystal recognizes that every person is on their own journey and it is an honor to walk with someone in this particular part of it.
