Background:
Emily Martin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been in the mental health field since 2003. She is dedicated to working with her clients to help them find peace and healthy solutions in their lives. She works with adults struggling with issues around trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, grief, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, work/school stressors and addiction.
Emily is especially committed to and focused on women’s issues such as domestic violence, infertility, exercise and nutrition, insomnia and parenting. Emily utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches with her clients in order to maintain a safe, productive and honest environment. She is an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and provides Auricular Acupuncture, which is a unique, non-verbal modality that can help treat trauma, addiction/cravings, and anxiety.
When Emily is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dog, cooking, and enjoying live music.
