Holly Jones, LCSW

Holly Jones (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and REGISTERED PLAY THERAPIST™. She has specialized training in acute and complex trauma treatment for children and families. She also enjoys working with presenting needs related to anxiety, grief/loss, identity exploration, family relationships, attachment disruptions, and foster care/adoption. Holly grew up as a dancer and deeply believes in the connection between body and mind, using this background to assist clients with self-expression and healing. She utilizes an integrative approach incorporating talk therapy, expressive activities, acceptance & commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Holly’s clinical experience includes trauma/crisis response, therapeutic work in the public school systems, intensive in-home counseling, and domestic violence survivor support. Holly is LGBTQIA+ affirming and strives to provide a warm and accepting atmosphere for all. When not at work, Holly enjoys visiting aquariums, exploring Richmond restaurants, and watching holiday movies.
