Jason Schultz, LMFT

Jason (he/him) is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and challenges in their relationships. He provides individual and relationship therapy, with a focus on helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and interactions.

Jason’s approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s goals. He frequently uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify what’s not working and explore realistic ways to make changes. As a Gottman Level 1 trained therapist, in his work with partnerships he incorporates strategies to support clearer communication, conflict management, and stronger connection.

Jason earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary and has experience working in outpatient community mental health, where he supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and with diverse clinical needs. Jason values creating a space that feels grounded, respectful, and approachable, and he is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

His goal is to help clients feel more equipped to handle what’s in front of them—whether that’s managing day-to-day stress, improving relationships, or gaining a better understanding of themselves.
