Leslie Brown, LCSW

Leslie (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Virginia. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she developed a deep commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive.
With extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, Leslie specializes in addiction and trauma-related disorders. She also works passionately with couples and school-aged children, helping them navigate challenges and strengthen connections.
Leslie is ADOS-2 certified, allowing her to administer and interpret diagnostic assessments for Autism in children and adolescents. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Play Therapy.
Leslie’s therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and insight-driven. Drawing from psychodynamic and solution-focused frameworks—and incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—she helps clients uncover core beliefs, recognize behavioral patterns, and move toward the life they aspire to live.
When she’s not in session, Leslie is dreaming up her next travel adventure, perfecting her event-hosting skills, or passionately defending the cinematic brilliance of Hallmark holiday movies.
