I have always had a keen interest in the human experience, which has been cultivated into a passion for helping individuals face the struggles inherent within their lives. I believe that effective therapy is based on providing an attentive ear to the specific needs and struggles of each client. I recognize that facing significant issues within our lives takes bravery and requires a counselor to have a skilled eye for the ways in which our own behaviors hold us back from the goals we set forth for ourselves. Exploring difficult areas of life takes a willingness to confront hard truths while using a gentle hand in the process.
I have specific training in working with children, families, and trauma as well as experience working with anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, and issues faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with clients ages 5 and up.
I am excited to help you with your journey of self discovery, introspection, and growth. Life provides innumerable and constant obstacles, and I would be honored to help you overcome those that you are facing.
