Maranda Buchta, LCSW

Maranda Buchta is an LCSW trained in EMDR and passionate about working with trauma and addictions. She is focused on serving the adult population and pursuing certifications in sex education and sex therapy.

Maranda leans towards Polyvagal theory, CBT, DBT, person-centered, and more holistic modalities in her practice.

The start of her career was spent in community outreach and a hospital setting in NJ. That's where Maranda's decision to work with trauma and addictions began. This only bloomed further as she transitioned to working in a substance abuse IOP.

Creating a safe and comfortable environment for her clients is a big part of her work and Maranda is an LGBTQIA+ competent and affirming clinician. She hopes to achieve a sense of comfort and safety for clients in bringing a little bit of her personality into the therapeutic relationship.
