Mikayla Cypress, LPC

Mikayla Cypress (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigate life’s challenges while building confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly.

Mikayla has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, trauma, family conflict, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Her background in community mental health has allowed her to work closely with children, adolescents, caregivers, schools, and other providers to support clients from a collaborative and holistic perspective.

Mikayla believes therapy should feel approachable, empowering, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Her therapeutic style is compassionate, relational, and strengths-based while incorporating evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed interventions, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques.
