Nadia Jomaa, LCSW

Growing up as a first-generation American and struggling with my own cultural intersectionality, it’s been amazing to connect with and help others who have experienced the same. This has also allowed me to guide all my clients to understand who they are and what they value as a person, as well as support them to find space for themselves in a world where they may not feel seen or heard. I love helping my clients be more open, curious and compassionate with themselves so that they may unlock the “why’s” behind some of their quirks, build empathy with their protective parts, and cultivate compassion for their current selves. My mission is to provide safe, inclusive, affirming and individualized support, education and care for all my clients.

Some of the typical modalities I use are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness education, Narrative Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Polyvagal approaches.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and have 8 years of clinical therapy experience.

I’m new to the Richmond area as of 2024, and I enjoy hiking, running, spending time with my dogs and playing guitar.
