As a Resident in Counseling, people often come to therapy with me because they feel caught in familiar emotional or relational patterns that they understand intellectually, yet still feel unable to shift. You might notice anxiety, self-criticism, or emotional distance showing up in your relationships, or feel weighed down by experiences from the past that continue to shape how you relate to others and to yourself.

I practice from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, which means our work focuses on understanding the deeper emotional and interpersonal patterns that organize your inner life. Together, we examine what happens in your relationships outside of therapy, but also pay great attention to what happens in the therapeutic relationship itself, using these moments to develop greater awareness, flexibility, and emotional freedom. Rather than offering quick solutions, I aim to help you understand why certain experiences feel so persistent, and explore new ways of relating.

My role is to provide a steady and attuned presence where we will work through challenges as they arise in real time, not just talk about them. I believe meaningful change happens through a relationship where you feel genuinely understood and where difficult emotions can be explored safely and at your own pace. Over time, this work can lead to deeper self-trust, more satisfying relationships, and a greater sense of agency in your life.
