She feels particularly honored to work with people struggling with self-harm or suicidal urges and is excited at the opportunity to apply her extensive experience in an outpatient setting.

Rhea utilizes a range of therapeutic interventions depending on the needs and wishes of the client, including mindfulness and DBT-informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems therapy, harm reduction techniques, and motivational interviewing. Rhea is a trauma-informed, LGBTQ-affirming, and empowerment-focused therapist.

Prior to working in the mental health field, Rhea worked in international education and facilitated study abroad experiences for graduate and undergraduate students. Rhea focused on cross cultural communication, American diversity and discrimination issues abroad, and acculturation challenges.
