Background:
Shannon Le Corre, LCSW( she/her) has been passionate about supporting people affected by trauma and major life adjustments for over six years. A majority of her work has been focused on helping people with Complex PTSD find a path towards healing by holding space for their challenging life experiences, identifying their own strengths and areas of resilience, and finding hope for the future.
She takes the therapeutic bond very seriously and understands how critical physical and emotional safety is to survivors of trauma, violence, and exploitation. She is a highly trained trauma-informed therapist that is trained in EMDR and other various trauma-focused modalities, with a specific focus on children, adolescents, and young adults.
She welcomes anyone who needs a nonjudgemental, sometimes silly yet always supportive advocate in their life. (Fun fact: Adults can do play therapy too!) She always tries to meet clients "where they're at" with warmth and curiosity. She believes therapy is just a collaborative approach to creative problem-solving. Let's get started!
