Background:

Stefan (he/him) is a Masters of Social Work candidate who is currently working his clinical internship with RCC under the supervision of Kristin Dahland, LCSW.

Stefan utilizes person-centered and trauma-informed approaches to providing care. He is being trained to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy—and is interested in humanistic/existential forms of therapy where relevant to client needs. He focuses on clients' holistic well-being, and is passionate about empowering people in living their lives as they see fit. Curiosity, compassion, and an orientation toward growth inform his therapeutic practice.

Stefan is from Yorktown, Virginia and has lived in Richmond since 2025. In his free time, he loves getting lost in books, collecting CDs & finding new music to listen to, being outside, and hosting his friends for dinner parties and game nights.

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology- University of Virginia, 2021
Master of Social Work, Clinical Concentration- Virginia Commonwealth University, 2027 (anticipated)
