Background:

Taylor (she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who creates a space where clients feel truly seen and heard. Taylor specializes in supporting people navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration and acceptance, life transitions, relationships, emotional regulation, communication, and self-esteem. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and families across both inpatient, outpatient, and acute hospital settings, providing support at some of the most challenging points in people’s lives.

Taylor understands how layered and complex people’s lives can be – how our experiences, beliefs, families, and the world around us shape who we are. They practice from a holistic, strength-based, and intersectional lens that honors the impact of the past while focusing on how we can grow into the best versions of ourselves. In sessions, Taylor draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, and insights from psychodynamic approaches to deepen understanding and promote lasting change.

Taylor holds a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from Columbia University and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her clinical expertise includes mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, self-esteem, identity and life transitions, trauma, attachment, and fostering healthy, fulfilling relationships.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Taylor reading, spending time outdoors, at the gym, or relaxing with friends, family, and their cat, Luka.
